Built-in preloader
A built-in preloader is included in which you may customize the color, font and loading text. The component also includes ActionScript methods and events for creating your own custom preloader.

Scale image
Images and SWFs can be resized to fit the size of the imageLoader component that's on your stage. Using the transform tool, you may change the size of the component as you wish. You also have the option of displaying the images at their regular full size.

Maintain aspect ratio
When using the "scale to fit" option, you also have the option to maintain the aspect ratio. This ensures that the proportions of the width and height of the image remain the same so that the image does not appear distorted. By unchecking this option, the image/swf will be resized to fit both the width and the height of the imageLoader component.

Live Preview
The unique live preview feature of the imageLoader displays the loaded image on the stage, in the Flash IDE.

Trigger an action after loading an image
Use the file loaded handler to trigger a function when the image has fully loaded.
