Spice up the look of your menu by choosing from a wide range of super cool effects: fade in, zoom, zoom-ease, bounce, zoom-bounce, border, typewriter. All effects, and colors are fully customizable.
Define menu buttons through XML
Besides defining the parameters directly in the component's panel, you also have the option to use an XML file. There is no need to access the .fla file once it's uploaded. Create a simple XML file to dynamically update your text and links externally.
Adjustable effect parameters
You can define the speed and intensity of all the effects, by simply changing a couple of parameters.
Text colors and customizable backgrounds
Simply type your menu text and select the colors for each state. Define your own custom backgrounds (including movie clip backgrounds) and colors for each state of the menu buttons (up, down, over, clicked). Images may be included as well, or create a text only menu by using a transparent movie clip.
Horizontal or vertical display
For maximum compatibility with every possible layout, the orientation of the menu can be set in different directions, such as horizontal, vertical-center, vertical-right aligned or vertical-left aligned. The example below shows a movieclip being used for the background.
Flexible menu button link options
Menu buttons can perform any action that you desire: getURL, loadMovie, gotoAndStop, gotoAndPlay as well as calling custom functions.
Show visited button
The button's background and text color can be set to show buttons that have been already clicked on during that session.
Define starting text styles for button states
You may preset the font, style, size and color of the first button to appear as 'clicked'. For example, when loading a site, the first page (e.g. Home) would appear as clicked if desired.
Preset or auto space menu buttons
The menu buttons can be set at a predetermined space, or set the total span size and the menu will auto space the buttons accordingly.
Automatic button size
The buttons can be set to auto-size, based on the length and height of the text, or all buttons may be set at a fixed width and height.
Fixed or auto position menu on screen
You may place the menu at fixed co-ordinates or set the horizontal and vertical positions to automatically place the menu on your stage (top, bottom, center, left, right).
Vertical text alignment
Choose the vertical text alignment within the buttons: top, middle, bottom.
Disable current
This option disables the currently selected menu button. This makes it clearer to the user that they are already on the current page.

All of the menu properties can be set and dynamically changed through ActionScript as well as numerous additional events (onMenuPress, onMenuRelease, onMenuRollover, onMenuRollOut).
